Dear Financial Professional:
When was the last time you thought about doing something for yourself? When was the last time you thought about where you are in your professional career? We all aspire to be successful and continue that success through our work, contacts and friends. We invite you to consider the Hampton Roads Association for Financial Professionals (HRAFP) as an organization that is focused on YOU as a professional and a friend. With over 70 members throughout Hampton Roads, we have provided the forum for Treasury Professionals to gain additional knowledge and insight into the rapidly changing world of treasury management. We have also provided a setting for you to get to know your peers and establish new friendships. Now is an opportunity to do something for yourself and not just for your company. Become an individual member of the HRAFP.
Our current membership period begins on July 1, 2012 and concludes on June 30, 2013. We offer the following membership packages:
Individual Membership Fee $160/year
Corporate Membership Fee$195/year
This single annual membership fee will cover ALL meetings to include our Annual Economic Luncheon and Education Conference. In addition, all meals, refreshments and handouts will be included as part of the fee. The Corporate Membership allows your organization one membership-slot to be used by selected individuals within your company.
We highly encourage guests to attend the seminars. Guest fee applies if multiple Corporate members attend the same event:

Economic Forecast Luncheon $50
Attendance to all meetings qualifies for CCM, CTM and CPE credits.Attached please find a listing of planned meeting dates.

Association Overview
The Hampton Roads Association for Financial Professionals (HRAFP) was organized in 1995 as a non-profit professional association for the purpose of providing a forum, within the Hampton Roads area, for the active, open exchange of concepts, techniques, and ideas related to improving cash management and treasury functions.
HRAFP is a Regional Affiliate of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) and works closely with the AFP on issues relating to regulatory concerns, industry standards and education. HRAFP membership is open to individuals who are primarily involved in the treasury management functions within their companies and government entities, as well as individuals providing cash and treasury management services from the banking, accounting, education and consulting industries.
Bi-Monthly meeting programs offer HRAFP members the opportunity to hear relevant presentations on cash and treasury management issues.Questions are encouraged and a moderator in an open forum panel discussion often facilitates the programs.Special emphasis is given to planning programs to insure that the topics are timely and useful to our membership. In addition, the HRAFP provides an Education Conference that is focused on the latest developments in the cash and treasury management field.
The format of our programs allows time for networking and the exchange of ideas with other treasury management professionals. HRAFP also serves as a clearinghouse to receive and disseminate information related to external treasury management developments, events and employment opportunities.
HRAFP recognizes the significance of attaining the Certified Cash Manager (CCM), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Certified Public Accounting (CPA) and Certified Management Accountants (CPM) designations. Therefore, our meetings qualify for CCM, CTP and CPE credits for these professional levels.

The Hampton Roads Association for Financial Professionals (HRAFP) was created for the, purpose of establishing a forum for the exchange of concepts and techniques related to the endeavor of improving treasury management and its related areas.
HRAFP is a nonprofit organization and is governed by a board of directors elected by its members. The purpose of the organization is met through bi-monthly meetings for members and guests where current topics are presented and through its annual educational conferences. The Board members and committee chairs are dedicated volunteers and are committed to serving the membership by exposing them to a wide array of opportunities for education, networking and exchanging ideas with other professionals in the field of treasury management. The HRAFP membership consists of practitioner members, associate members (bankers, vendors and consultants) and, education associate members.
